Healing, Your Way

Thoughtful approaches designed to meet you where you are.

The therapeutic process begins when you reach out to take that first step. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation where we can talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and see if we feel like a good fit to work together. If you decide to move forward, we’ll schedule your first appointment and you’ll complete intake forms online before our initial session. During that first session, we’ll get to know each other—you’ll have the chance to share about your background, what’s been challenging, and what you hope to gain from therapy—while we identify goals to guide our work. From there, therapy becomes a collaborative process of growth and exploration, grounded in a supportive and trusting relationship. Each session is shaped by your needs, offering understanding, guidance, and practical tools to help you move toward your goals. Over time, therapy evolves alongside you—it’s a space made for you and centered around your healing and growth.

Humanistic Therapy

I provide a space where you can feel fully seen, heard, and accepted for who you are. Drawing on humanistic approaches, I focus on your growth, self-understanding, and the choices that matter most to you. Using person-centered techniques, I offer empathy, active listening, and unconditional positive regard so you can explore your thoughts and feelings safely. From an existential perspective, we look at life's bigger questions—meaning, purpose, and responsibility—to help you navigate challenges that feel significant. I may also use Gestalt strategies to help you connect with the present moment and become more aware of your emotions and patterns, as well as emotion-focused methods to process and express feelings in a healing way. My role is to walk alongside you, not to give answers, but to help you uncover your own insights and solutions. Together, we work toward greater self-awareness, resilience, and authenticity, supporting growth that feels meaningful and true to you.

Trauma-Informed & Culturally Sensitive Therapy

Healing from trauma and navigating life's challenges is deeply personal, and everyone's experience is shaped by their unique history, culture, and identity. In my work, I provide trauma-informed and culturally competent therapy, creating a safe, supportive space where you can feel seen, understood, and valued. I approach therapy with awareness of how past experiences, systemic factors, and cultural context influence your life, helping you explore your thoughts, feelings, and patterns with compassion and respect. Together, we work on building skills to manage stress, regulate emotions, and expand your window of tolerance, so you can cope with challenges even when difficult experiences cannot be erased. I aim to honor your story, your identity, and your cultural background, supporting you in finding ways to navigate the world that feel authentic and empowering. Therapy is a collaborative process where you can uncover your strengths, process experiences safely, and take steps toward healing and growth at your own pace. My goal is to help you build resilience, self-awareness, and confidence, while embracing the full richness of who you are.

Evidence-Based Therapy

Life can be overwhelming at times, and it's not always possible to make stress disappear—but it is possible to learn how to navigate it with greater ease and confidence. In my work, I guide clients using evidence-based therapies like CBT, DBT, and ACT to build practical skills and tools that make everyday challenges more manageable. With CBT, we uncover patterns of thinking that may be holding you back and explore ways to shift them so you can respond to life more effectively. DBT helps you develop skills to regulate emotions, tolerate distress, improve relationships, and expand your window of tolerance, giving you the capacity to cope with stress even when it can't be eliminated. ACT supports you in connecting with your values and taking meaningful action, even when difficult thoughts or feelings show up. Together, we create a supportive, collaborative space where you can experiment, practice new strategies, and discover what works best for you. The goal is not just to manage problems but to build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and cultivate a sense of agency and confidence that carries into all areas of your life.
